V19 officially became the opening smartphone in 2020. The public can already pre-order Vivo V19 starting March 10.
We had the opportunity to do hands-on before the launch day. Before you order a device, here we describe the specifications and features of the Vivo V19.
Screen
Carrying 6.44 inches FHD +, the screen is decorated with punch holes in the left corner, as the front camera case. Vivo claims the camera hole size is the smallest of all existing smartphones, which is 2.98mm.
Vivo discards the selfie cam pop-up mechanism, which is on the two previous V Series models (V15 Pro and V17 Pro).
Named Ultra O Screen, the screen ratio is 20: 9 with Super AMOLED technology consisting of E3 OLED and 100% DCI-P3 color display.
With a screen-to-body ratio of 91.38%, V19 supports on-screen fingerprints and an always-on display feature.
Camera
The four cameras on the back consist of a 48MP main camera, an 8MP super wide angle camera, a 2MP super macro camera, and a 2MP bokeh camera.
Users can record 1K 60fps video stably thanks to the EIS feature.
The 32MP f / 2.45 front camera supports Super Night Selfie, AI Makeup, and AR sticker features.
The performance
In the performance sector, the V19 is driven by Snapdragon 675 AIE octa-core combined with 8GB of RAM and two 128GB and 256GB storage options.
Fingerprint
Not on the back panel, the V19 fingerprint scanner is inside the screen, or the company calls it Screen Touch ID.
Battery
The 4,500mAh battery capacity supports 18W dual engine fast charging. So it can charge batteries faster and can be a Powerbank for other mobile phones that need power.
Game Mode
V19 already supports game mode through the Multi Turbo feature, which consists of turbo cooling, turbo games, ART + Turbo, turbo center, and AI turbo.
USB Type-C
To charge, the V19 uses a USB Type-C port at the bottom, joined by a speaker and microphone funnel and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Triple slot
The power and volume buttons are on the right while the SIM tray slot is opposite. Users can insert two SIM cards (nano SIM) and one microSD (upto 256GB) at a time.
Color and Price
V19 will be available in two color choices: Crystal white and Arctic blue. For the price, not yet announced.
