1. Flinders Street Train Station
Flinders Street train station is located in the city of Melbourne. This station has existed since 1854 and became the first station in Australia. This building is decorated by a beautiful dome and very classic architecture that makes it an iconic building in Australia, especially the city of Melbourne.
The recently building is a model that was built in 1901. Previously in 1926 this station was the busiest station in the world.
2. Q1 (Queensland Number One)
Q1 (Queensland Number One) is the tallest building in Australia. The skyscraper is 322.5 meters high and has 78 floors with this height being the highest in Australia.
The location of this building is in Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia. This building is also an Queensland icon.
3. Royal Exhibition Building
This building is registered as a world heritage located in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. This building was built in 1979 and finished in 1980.
The Royal Exhibition Building was made the first international exhibition event in Melbourne which was attended by 1,800,000 people. This building has an area of about 64 hectares.
After becoming an Melbourne international exhibition in 1888 it was made a larger exhibition venue called the Centennial International Exhibition and in 1901 it was the venue for the opening of the Australian parliament, the Royal Exhibition Building became a UNESCO cultural heritage building on 1 July 2004.
4. Queen Victoria Building
From the outside, the Queen Victoria Building looks like a museum or a parliament building but actually this building is a shopping center in Australia. The building was first opened in 1898 and was designed by George Mcrae with Roman-style architecture. Inside this building there are shops of famous brands, cafes, and restaurants.
The historic thing in this building is a letter written by Queen Elizabeth 2, written on 18 November 1986 which will be opened in 2085.

5. Australia Square Tower
This building was built in 1961 and finished in 1967. Australia Square Tower is not the tallest or historic building in Australia, the interesting thing from this place is becoming an icon of Australian architecture and this building had ever been the tallest building in Sydney included in the world at 1967.
This building is located in Sydney's business center which is precisely at 264 George Street.
6. Museum of Australian Democracy / Old Parlianment House
This building was designed by John Smith Murdoch who was the architect of the first Commonwealth government. In 1927-1988 this building was used as a place for parliament to gather. By the 1980s the incoming MPs had exceeded their capacity, a New Parlianment House was built and finished in June 1988.
After the Museum of Australian Democracy was not used, the building was then used as an Australian democracy museum. The Museum of Australian Democracy is located at 18 King George Terrace, Parkes, ACT 2600, Australia.
7. New Parlianment House
The New Parlianment House design was obtained from the results of an architectural design competition consisting of 2 stages. The competition was first announced in April 1979. The architectural design competition was finished on June 26, 1980, which was won by Mitchell / Giurgola and Thorp, an architectural firm from New York.
New Parlianment House began construction in 1981 and finished on May 9, 1988. Inside this building there are 4500 rooms, and this building annually receives up to 1 million visitors each year.

8. Rialto Tower
Rialto Tower is an office building that was built in 1982 and finished in 1986. Rialto Tower is the tallest building in Australia and became the third in the world in 1986.
The building has a height of up to 251 meters and has 63 floors is the first place for Melbourne's Tower Running.
